Fitzharrys' School Association - FSA

 

The 'Fitzharrys School Association’ is Fitzharrys' equivalent of a PTA. It exists to support the work of the school through developing links between parents and the school.  The FSA is run by a Committee of Parents and Teachers who plan and organise social events and raise money for the extras that help to improve our children’s education. A key way parents can support the work of the FSA is by joining the 200 club. Please download an application form here.

Why do we need to raise money?

The principle of the FSA is to raise funds to improve our children's educational opportunities and school experience.  Fundraising allows us to continue to offer the 'extras' which are so important in a school and not covered by existing funds.

What do we do?

  • Each academic year we organize a Christmas Raffle.
  • We hold fundraising events such as Quiz Nights, Murder Mystery Evening, Jumble Sales and Race Evenings.
  • We support school productions by providing a variety of refreshments at the intervals.
  • We are registered with 'Easyfundraising'.

The FSA raised £410 on October 9th by holding a Bingo Night.

How can you get involved?

We are always happy to welcome new committee members and volunteers to help at events (we meet once a term).  You can contact the FSA via the school's main reception or send an email to fsa.4127@fitzharrys.oxon.sch.uk

 

FSA 200 club

A key way parents can support the work of the FSA is by joining the 200 Club to be entered into a draw every month to win a cash prize. The FSA 200 Club has been set up to raise money for Fitzharrys School, particularly for larger projects which would benefit the greatest number of students. The Club will be run by the FSA Committee.
