Students can either bring a packed lunch or buy food from our canteen, which serves a variety of tasty menu choices that are very competitively priced.
Our canteen is open 10.50 - 11.10 for break time and 13.10 - 13.45 for lunch.
Year 7 students enjoy a separate serving area, while both years 8 & 9 and years 10 &11 having serving hatches in the main hall and dedicated seating areas.
Our catering team produce a range of freshly made meals and snacks, which are locally supplied providing fresh, high quality and locally sourced food that is prepared and cooked in our kitchen.
There is always a vegetarian option available daily, but students with specific dietary requirements should consult the online menu and may prefer to bring in their own packed lunch or items to supplement those available at school.
The catering manager regularly meets our student council representatives to discuss ideas and improvements.
Our canteen operates a cashless system and students pay for items from the canteen using a payment card. Accessed via the 'Accounts' tab in ParentMail, parents can view the balance of their child's payment card online and are able to top it up remotely. This online system also allows parents to know what items the money has been spent on.
